THE RULES FOR BATTLE
In this forum, you men will fight
HOW IT GOES DOWN IN MY HOOD!
To issue a battle with your opponent, your topic must follow the guidelines below. Once your topic has been seen and approved by a Mod or Admin it will be marked as Active. To ensure your battle is accepted you should probably talk to the person who you wish to battle before issuing the battle. Battles that are denied or not accepted within a week will be moved to the Abandoned Battles forum.
Title
The title must follow the template below. Any topics whose title does not follow the template will automatically be removed.
Template: "I CHALLENGE {insert opponent username here} TO A BATTLE!"
(obviously without the quotes)
Example: "I CHALLENGE RAPIDFIR3PHO3NIX TO A BATTLE!"
Active Example: "[ACTIVE] I CHALLENGE RAPIDFIR3PHO3NIX TO A BATTLE!"
Specifications
Just like with collabs, there are some specifications that you should include in your battle topic. The following specifications should be found in your topic, however, this list is not comprehensive so you may add or remove specifications as you see fit.
- Programs: Details which programs will be used
- FPS: Details the fps of the animation
- Theme (mandatory): The theme of the battle.
- Length: How long the animation should be.
- Due Date (mandatory): When the battle is over.
- etc.,
The two main specifications here are the theme of the battle and when the battle will be completed.
NOTE: It is okay to extend the Due Date if most participants agree, however, Sprite Battles will only be allowed, at most, extensions that equal up to 3 months total. This means that from the time the battle is marked as Active the battle must conclude within 3 months of the proposed Due Date.
Team Battles
If your team wants to battle another team then both teams need to make sure that their team is registered in the Team Registration forum.
Lastly, if a battle topic goes idle for too long (longer than a month), then it's assumed that the battle is abandoned and it will be moved.
That's it! Happy Battling!
