How to sprite animate with flash

Alright Im going to try to make this easy to understand.
1. Take all sprites involved with the movement and copy and paste it into flash.
Ex: All sprites that require mario to walk
2. The sprites should all still be together here. Next, Right click and convert to symbol and make it a graphic
*Also name it like mario run
3. Click Enter. On the side there will be something called the library. You will see the symbol name and a picture with like 3 shapes directly next to it. Click the pic 2 times
4. If correct then above the timeline you will see the symbol name. Now you will see all the mario sprites in line. Right click and click break apart. Then click the lasso tool, then on the bottom click the magic wand tool. Click the bg of the sprites and click delete. Now cut all the sprites but one. Then create a blank frame.
5. In this blank frame enable onion skin which is either above or below the fps bar. Paste sprites. Cut all but the one. Now align the sprites accordingly. Continue this process
6. When done click enter to watch the symbol play. Make sure it looks good. Then click the back arrow and try to put it on the stage. It should work.

Thank god one goood question ok look i have the sprite fight im working on a tab right and i have a character on the other tab as i call it and when i save it to ther library right and then i go to the tab that my sprite fight is at then i dont see the one i did in my other tab

I think he asked something like this : He got two files (Not tabs) opened. Then, one is his project, and the other contains the sprites. Then, he converts the sprites he wants to a symbol, and it's on the second file's library. But it don't appears on the other.

Solution : You think the whole Flash ambient is Firefox? The library is not global. Each movie have one. So, you have to copy it from library of the file where it's the sprites, then paste on the library of the movie.

How could you understand that. He said he had tabs. That was it. Wtf is that supposed to mean.

I didn't know if he meant some Internet Explorer tabs or...what.

Yeah tabs could really be anything....

Hey can someone tell me their magic wand settings? Every time I use it, I get a white outline on the outside of the sprite and it's annoying.
