How to start making sprites

Can any one tell me how do i start making sprites pls

well every time i try to download it it wont download or just asking me to add the exteions

I say start with Gimp. It's a free software and it already has a built in pixel tool. You can rip sprites and create some of your own.

hay also would any one collabe with me so i can get the hang of it

I use a site called Piskel. It's really hard to make even a single-frame sprite (the one I'm referring to is my profile icon. Yup! I made it myself!). Any advice?
