I been using Macromedia Flash 8 Pro for about 10 years now man...and the only times I ever switched off was for Adobe Flash CS3.
I think Flash 8 is really well made, can't see a reason to not use it.

I switch between CS3 and CS6. I'm always willing to try new things out.
