Damn, that really goes to show what good an internet community can do. THAT'S the reason we should be trying to get people to join us, giving them a sense of belonging. We should especially be treating new members better than we do.

I don't think I've ever been truly depressed, not even close to the level of you guys.

However, I firmly believe the joys of friendship greatly outweigh the sadness of it and that's why we desperately need this site to come back alive! Not only for our sake, but for the sake of those lost in life and needing a place where they can feel at home when, in life, they don't have such a place.

Wow, I forgot you never really knew about that. Damnit we need to talk more.

Yeah. I didn't really post the revival process where I felt better. That's usually not as interesting haha. While I admit I probably had happier moments with her than possible alone (and also sadder), I'm more consistently happy how I am now. I was very up and down with her, I'm much more stable now. I depended on her to be happy, which isn't exactly the best idea. You gotta learn to be happy with yourself before you can be happy with someone else.

I could make an entire topic about it if I really wanted to, and would do if you guys really want to know about stuff. Not that I don't want to share it, I'm very open with stuff (and if anyone's ever dealing with stuff like that, talk to me, I'll try to help), but idk if there's no need to talk about my life I don't really care to, makes me feel conceited.

Honestly, I'm more interested in hearing about you recovering and getting to be happy than anything else. If you want to make a topic, go for it. I think the majority of the people here need a prime example of life not always being so bad. When I first started this site I was some whiney, depressed, suicidal, self loathing kid. Now I'm actually pretty 'consistently happy' as you put it.

I can do that. Gotta figure out how to do it, where to start, remember all the crap, etc. though first. At this point that was...a little over a year ago. Although I don't think that's a "prime example of life now always being so bad" since that was literally the lowest point in my life, for a solid several months. My life might not have exactly been bad (it basically went back to the way my life had been for the last 16 years before I became friends/best friends/gf/etc. with her), but damn was I down in the dumps. If I had the foresight and gave a crap (and was a female) I probably woulda kept a log or some crap on it. It'd be sweet if I could get the notes from the therapist I had back then, it'd be interesting.
