I guess you can say so, Link's character design has become a favorite of mine despite not being too invested in the Zelda franchise. Marlowe's original design resembled more of Spike Witwicky from the Transformers G1 cartoon, and I was originally trying to move away from that before (unintentionally at first) modifying his attire to look closer to Link (I'd say the boots are the most direct inspiration). An older design of him doesn't have a belt on top of his shirt, which I'm divided on keeping or removing.

I always thought the Random Access Memories album art looked similar to the Sonic and Knuckles boxart...
