Thanks for screwing us over again after you delayed Rayman even though it was done on the Wii U but not other platforms, THEN released it at the same time as GTA:V.

i know i get that its a business, but there's so few actually "game developers" who want to make games, rather than businesses that want to make money. its sad. The reason there's little support is that they're scared of not having a lot of sales and losing money. the problem isn't th at there's little sales, its that the budget for games are so inflated now that anything less than millions of copies makes them lose money. Its pretty much dirt cheap indie titles, cheap shovelware, and AAA titles. THere's no middle ground anymore.

This is because how a game looks is more important than how the game plays now. Sure I love how good some games look as much as the next person, but gamers have such a hard-on for graphics right now that any game that isn't on the edge of photorealism is considered garbage (yet millions still play call of duty). It's pretty sad cuz now developers are forced to have games with good looking graphics if they wanna sell which is why games have been becoming less different as time goes on.

its like gonna be the opposite of the Gaming Crash of the 80s, instead of there being too much crap games out there, there's gonna be so little developers left that there won't be enough and it'll die

Sheeeet there's a lot of indie games coming. Didn't even know there was so many, the Direct focused so much on 3DS indie stuff i thought there was no Wii U indie stuff. Thank christ. Probably will buy a few of them. That racer one at the very top of the page that says is like FZero with 4K textures seems awesome. I hope they're not to expensive or large file size. I don't wanna buy a hardrive D:

You don't have a hard drive? I had one before I got a Wii U, so I just had to get Y-cable and now I have about 500 GB of space.
This game looks really cool:

It really does feel like an amazing game. I'm taking my time and have only played the first three levels within like 2 hours.

i'd say better than returns, though inever played the WIi version only the 3DS. It looks so good and the soundtrack is orgasmic. The gameplay is so smooth and there's so much detail in everything

It definitely picks up after world 1 though. The first world is kind of boring but the subsequent ones just go wild

Well duh that's how most games are.
I like (yet hate that i like cuz i feel cheap) that the minecarts and rocket levels give you 2 hearts now instead of the just the 1 hit death, cuz those levels were soooo hard before.

well bamp (even though no one cares ;~
Just got Xenoblade and Metroid Prime Trilogy. Both were used at Gamestop but in pristine condition. Xenoblade even had the Club Nintendo code still (though haven't checked if it works). Also got Bayonetta in anticipation for whenever Bayonetta 2 comes out. Hopefully they'll last me until Mario Kart comes out. If they don't i'll just finish completing all my games i already own (like get all stars in SM3DW, or collectables in DKC:TF, etc).
Also since i've played Metroid NES, and now the MPT, i might as well go in order and play Metroid II when i'm done, then Super Metroid, then Fusion will be out on the VC probably (will ignore Other M as apparently its a disgrace to Samus).

you know the funny thing is a few months back I did mention how gamers didn't actually know what they wanted and were bashing Nintendo for doing what they asked

Re: Wii U Topic
5/6/2014, 7:36 pm
Nintendo was pretty much ahead of the curve and got screwed by it a lot. They always had the stronger console than their main competitor up till the Gamecube, which sold the worse even though it was super powerful and easy to develop for. Then with the Wii they said "forget power" and went for being unique, and suddenly power was all anyone wanted and they bought the strongest console.

or something like "only the casuals bought a wii" lol
remember when hardcore simply meant you played a lot of games and it had nothing to do with a games genre or company.
the standards for what makes a game good changed a lot.
but I lol whenever I see a graphics whore go crazy for blaze blue(that game is fun btw try it if you haven't) I mean yea the games good but they completely forgot that its sprites and not the full 3d in 1080p 60fps they constantly have a boner for.
