Thanks, and unfortunately no. However that is why I need to practice on it, probably won't have something solid for a long while but its in the works.@D3Anims wrote:These actually look pretty dam cool, hopefully youre good at spriting

you have some quite scratchy lines. personally i don't mind them much, but perhaps you should try using longer lines. nothing wrong with being sketchy, but if you have tons of tiny little lines everywhere, it looks like fur. just a suggestion.
these are nice, although be careful with the excessive flatness in some of them

Glad you like them. XD@Cup of Joe wrote:lets see...

Yea, I always have a bad habit with sketchyness, then again, at least for a lot of the characters in those older pictures, they do have fur. @ @; Still, could you explain what you mean by flatness? Never had that critique before. o o@Leo wrote:you have some quite scratchy lines. personally i don't mind them much, but perhaps you should try using longer lines. nothing wrong with being sketchy, but if you have tons of tiny little lines everywhere, it looks like fur. just a suggestion.

it's when you have a drawing that looks kinda like this

instead of having something solid, that looks tangible and what not. the best way to do this is actually with light and shadow, but you can do that with lines just fine. to do it, you need to learn perspective.
i posted this on another topic, but it's still relevant i guess

it's up to you if you wanna follow what i said, tho@Leo wrote:
there's some things i should mention but they're not that important right now. personally, i feel that form is more important to learn first, so that you're not trapped and can draw only some memorized shapes. but do learn shapes too, as they're what make the drawing look cool or nice.
i learned all this stuff from here
