My very first animation

alrightt guys.... soooo like i said im a noob and this was just to test what i could do with some effects and animation ive been only doing this for about 2 days now but ive been watching tutorials for about 4 days so.... heres too the only person here who animates in after effects

i honestly commend those people who make videos 5min+ cuz this honestly took a while to do even without effects

That was terrible. I know you just started animating but there's no way around it.

First of all, what's with the smoke at the bottom of the screen? why's it there? what's its purpose? it just clutters up the screen and takes up extra space, its not needed.

Second why are they warping? 0.0 everything happened so fast that it was hard to even see that he dodged the slash, appeared above and cut him. Then he reappears and disappears? I had to pause to see what happened T.T lol idk man, i know you just started but let me tell you you started off on the wrong foot, and if you keep going in this direction, you won't have a bright future in this stuff

Also the sound effects, they don't fit at all. You put a hit sound when they slash?? and I swear I heard sasuke in there 0.0, where did that come from?? Man, were you just throwing things in a pot and mixing it all up, and just put what you get on youtube?

Finally, take this how you will, think I'm a dick but in the end. I'm just trying to help you out, that is why you came here right?? All things considered, it WAS your first so i can't really say much else. Hope you try to improve your next movie ^.^

hmmm welll... thanksss for the criticism lol.... but the smoke is suppose to be for the guy hiding i tried to give it like a back story where some guys hiding in the mist and when he warps out of it the smoke disappears... and its hard to make audio match in ae.... but i was just playing around with stuff for the most part... hense the sasuke but dont worry gettin better every damn fucking day bruh and good luck in that challenge

That was a very decent flash for an beginner. If ya learn more about after effects an' shit, you'll most definitely get better.

The thing that bothers me is the texts.
Hard to read.

ill give points for effort, AE isnt something you can learn to animate in overnight
