I animate at we 30 fps because I got a lot of complaints about lower fps and Cuzco the pros tell me to use it to get better Laughing

I thought about this briefly and realized, there is zero reasons as to why you should use 120.

120 frames is a lot of frames for one second. And, try to picture a 120 FPS animation, if you were honestly making it at 120 FPS, like it was designed to be made for that. It just doesn't make sense. I don't really think the human eye can track all that movement in one second anyways, also, a lot of those frames would be duplicates just so we can see the dang sprite from the start!

The highest that I think you can use that will still be bearable and worth it is 60. And that still is something you shouldn't use, because honestly there is no reason to be using such a high FPS. I mean, 30-45 is really the cap off. Doesn't have to go any higher, because after that, you're animating frames that will more than likely not get noticed. And who would want that? ;P

Holy shit he's alive.

And yeah. 120FPS is just making more work for yourself when in the end it will probably go unnoticed.

To me there's nothing wrong with that as a beginner I suggest 30 fps when people become intermediately skilled

Since when did animating at a certain fps depict skill? I'm pretty sure that whether or not you are considered a beginner or not is dependent on your animation NOT the fps it moves at.

Since people were began calling others noobs for low fps in animation plus most people who are good in a sense use higher Fps to animate

I ask again, are you retarded? 40 and 60 are mostly used for video games. I haven't met an animator (A smart one anyway) who seriously goes over 30 FPS. after thirty it's just ridiculous.

Lol im pretty late aint i?
Well, i always used 30 to begin with, i boosted the FPS at this certain Collab Tal made, uh... was it... oh yeah, Pixel Frenzy, i used 35 there, and i animated Shift Frenzy at 33 FPS. Afterwards i jumped back to 30, and so far thats how big im intending to keep the FPS. Although these new anims that have been made under higher FPS such as 40 or 60 even, are challenging. Ah whatever.
