Maplestory shizz

I've seen some maple animations here and there, most of them are shit. Best ones I HAVE seen would be DS's or Nivlac's.
So...to avoid obvious humiliating criticism, what would you expect or maybe...what would you like to see in a maplestory fight?
I think they're called MBRs? ami rite?
I'm working on one right now, but posting progress in its current state is a waste of time.

Well what i want to see in maplestory would be some more realistic fightning. In game it's just stay 1m away from monster and rape your attack and mp button. Also what i have wanted to see are combos. Maple skills can be combined into big attack combination which should hack and slash it's opponents. Also i'd like to see all jobs doing some teamwork againt some dynamic bosses instead of roaming/static bosses.

i love DS vs tyler... i just love the way tyler fights lmfao. anyways yea we should make a collab of it but one problem= IDK HOW TO MAKE MY OWN MS CHARACTER D:

You also need to be good with editing.

Maple doesn't give you good poses for fighting or running or doing anything else you'd think it's obvious to a fight but it doesn't have these.
Now you know why they move like Sonic with the whole attack-stop-dash-attack-stop-dash thing.

That's why I just downloaded a shit load of custom bases hahaha.

lol NS if you need help with some maple I can help abit also member to use the SWF protector whenever you go to maplemation cause some members decompile their :/

Also, about custom bases...have you edited them before? If so, how do you go about doing it?

I'd like to see something more similar to DS's style it's funny that even though he's a kirby sprite animator when he picked up maple he pulled it off better than most maple animators. I guess what i'm trying to say is, i'd like to see some more realism because honestly, I get tired of the whole attack dash crap cuz that's how 90 % people animate them. Hope this helps

There is this program called Alferd spritesheet Unpacker, unfortunately it only rips sprites out of a sheet and gives you them individually.

well i just want to know how to add clothes to other poses...

Making A maplestory character is nothing. Its editing the clothes onto the base thats hard. I recently joined MM, Made a character, and made my first aple Demo. I found multiple templates (bases) and they seem fine but then here comes the clothes.........After you make your character its kind of hard to put my clothes onto the base. It never turns out right.

Adding clothes must be a pain in the butt then.

just got to change the face looks

IMO the poses seem to lack power in their attack sequences theIquietlydie did a great example of how to use basic poses
also this is Kevin Maplestory style
how they do the heads is that they save it seperate with the clothes in bannestory and create its own folder
its much like building up a sprite
