Big Bang theory is such a terribad show

Also while that might be true, pretty sure companies won't hire you if you didn't go to school for that, even if you're good :\

hahaha no

They actually look at your portfolio, not if you went to animation school.
I've seen people being hired without being one single semester in any type of school.

Don't need to go to animation school.

In fact, nothing that they usually teach there is that hard to learn on your own.
Yeah, and there's no school that will teach you something you can't find out on your own.
That doesn't meant you shouldn't go to school.

Lol i used to think it was bad but then my girl told me to actually watch it an it's not so bad. But that 70's show is funnier :3

And i think you may actually have better luck designing stuff for video games then animating shows. But i guess animation is also apart of game making.

Not only this, but animation school is a great place to meet people that share the same interest. I don't really see the down side.

I don't mean "DON'T GO THERE IT'S EVIL"

I'm just saying that no one is obligated to go to it. Also not everyone has money to spend in such schools.
There's no down sides, and it's actually better since (hopefully) you'll have teachers that can help you to learn stuff faster.

My future in animation? I'm doing it to make a career out of my shit.

I was payed to show an animation of mines at my local library. 100% customed. Had to make bit musics and shit. Drew and had sprites and everything. Got 50 dollars off it. That fucked my ambitions to a whole new level.

If you were just making everything from scratch is the first place, why use sprites?
You could have just drawn out the animation instead.

I love sprites. The way they are. The idea of them being bits of art. I just love it.
